Mircea Jecu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Toader Apăvăloaie who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Andrei Nistorescu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sebastian Joanță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Andrei Nistorescu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sebastian Joanță showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 36 minute of play. Gabriel Măndica charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Măndica the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th minute Sebastian Joanță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Nistorescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, ACS Unirea Curtești's Toader Apăvăloaie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andrei Nistorescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. The supporters of Universitatea Pitești booed when ACS Unirea Curtești was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costin Ozon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th minute Sebastian Joanță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Nistorescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrei Nistorescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Joanță in the 99th minute of the match. There was no doubt that ACS Unirea Curtești were the better team. ACS Unirea Curtești's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
