Emanuel Săvescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Pantelimon, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 5 minutes into the game, Albert Petrulean cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Emanuel Săvescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 12th match minute, roxoxo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gelu Ştefănuţ to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, roxoxo's goalkeeper Romeo Ghișerel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sorin Moga. When Edgar Axinte fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Crunti's protests and gave Edgar Axinte a yellow card for diving instead. Gigel Pantelimon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Săvescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Petrulean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Gigel Pantelimon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Săvescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Săvescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigel Pantelimon in the 31st minute of the match. Romeo Ghișerel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toader Dănciulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute of the match Cornel Balțoi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emanuel Săvescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Emanuel Săvescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigel Pantelimon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Petrulean in the 45th minute of play forced Crunti's goalkeeper Emanuel Săvescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half roxoxo were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Toader Dănciulescu made the kick off in the second half. Romeo Ghișerel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sorin Moga in the 52nd minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, roxoxo's goal looked a bit too open when Toader Dănciulescu came free, but Romeo Ghișerel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sorin Moga in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romeo Ghișerel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the last second Emanuel Săvescu throw himself and got hold of the ball when Gigel Pantelimon in the 74thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 76 minutes, Paul Slătineanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crunti and the roxoxo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Crunti's goalkeeper Emanuel Săvescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Romeo Ghișerel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toader Dănciulescu in the 80th minute of play. The long shot by Aristide Savu in the 84th minute really tested Emanuel Săvescu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albert Petrulean in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuel Săvescu saved Crunti from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albert Petrulean in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuel Săvescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Emanuel Săvescu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Crunti's zone, Albert Petrulean stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Săvescu came out of the goal and Albert Petrulean tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. roxoxo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
