Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute, Viorel Joja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Laurențiu Zmărăndescu fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Black Sea FC's protests and gave Laurențiu Zmărăndescu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th minute, Laurențiu Zmărăndescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute, Mihnea Dragalina sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Black Sea FC's Dorin Teişanu didn't even have to move. Valer Moșoiu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without George Bălășoiu having to make a save. Toader Cămărășan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugen Dănălache in the 19th minute of play forced AFC Wimbledon's goalkeeper George Bălășoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. George Bălășoiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Dănălache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Laurențiu Anghelescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Black Sea FC's Dorin Teişanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toader Cămărășan in the 28th minute of play. Laurențiu Anghelescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Dorin Teişanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Toader Cămărășan struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Dorin Teişanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC Wimbledon. Laurențiu Anghelescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorin Teişanu having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Liviu Diculescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Black Sea FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC Wimbledon the free kick. After a rather tough play, Black Sea FC's Liviu Diculescu got a free kick in the 44th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Eugen Dănălache received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. George Bălășoiu came out and tried to block the shot, but Eugen Dănălache slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 51st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugen Dănălache in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg George Bălășoiu saved AFC Wimbledon from getting behind. 60 minutes into the game, Viorel Joja was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC Wimbledon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Black Sea FC the free kick. The supporters of Black Sea FC booed when AFC Wimbledon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viorel Joja didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dorin Teişanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurențiu Anghelescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. During the 74th minute of the match Laurențiu Zmărăndescu completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Laurențiu Zmărăndescu a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Laurențiu Zmărăndescu kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute Toader Cămărășan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorin Teişanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th match minute, Black Sea FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Gane to maneuver through the defense. If Valer Moșoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
