Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Eduard Şumălan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zelau's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduard Şumălan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valeriu Ozon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ionel Troncotă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iustinian Savins short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Valeriu Ozon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Valeriu Ozon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduard Şumălan in the 13th minute of play. In the 13th match minute, OLIMPIC BOCSA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cezar Rareș to maneuver through the defense. After 15 played minutes OLIMPIC BOCSA got a freekick which was hit by Călin Belu. The supporters of OLIMPIC BOCSA booed when Zelau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandu Postolache didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, OLIMPIC BOCSA's Valeriu Ozon got control of the ball when Mihăiţă Zdraşcu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valeriu Ozon made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Mihăiţă Zdraşcu sent off a good shot on target. Valeriu Ozon was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sabin Miulescu. After having played for 36 minutes, Iustinian Savin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zelau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iustinian Savin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute, Eduard Şumălan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Călin Belu hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. When Iustinian Savin came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Zelau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iustinian Savin couldn't finish the play. OLIMPIC BOCSA's Valeriu Ozon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduard Şumălan in the 44th minute of play. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind OLIMPIC BOCSA's goalkeeper Valeriu Ozon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ionel Troncotă was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Cătălin Zgondea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. OLIMPIC BOCSA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cătălin Zgondea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iustinian Savin scored 1-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valeriu Ozon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iustinian Savin in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valeriu Ozon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 62nd minute, Sandu Postolache left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zelau fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 67 minutes into the game, one of OLIMPIC BOCSA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Zelau a penalty, 69 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gică Frântu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of OLIMPIC BOCSA's Valeriu Ozon. 3-0. In the 73rd minute, Sandu Postolache hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valeriu Ozon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iustinian Savin, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 77thth minute of the game Iustinian Savin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but OLIMPIC BOCSA's Valeriu Ozon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in OLIMPIC BOCSA's zone, Iustinian Savin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valeriu Ozon came out of the goal and Iustinian Savin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Iustinian Savin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. OLIMPIC BOCSA's Valeriu Ozon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduard Şumălan in the 88th minute of play. Călin Belu's late challenge caught a Zelau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Călin Belu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to OLIMPIC BOCSA getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Călin Belu hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the OLIMPIC BOCSA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Zelau.
