Narcis Frunză showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciprian Răduț, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucrețiu Aronescu in the 30th minute of play forced Penfolds®'s goalkeeper Narcis Frunză to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute Lucrețiu Aronescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narcis Frunză saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Narcis Frunză didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC DNI's Ciprian Răduț shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Narcis Frunză took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dragoş Carp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Narcis Frunză made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucrețiu Aronescu in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ciprian Răduț made the kick off in the second half. Ferdinand Bârlă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Narcis Frunză made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Lucrețiu Aronescu sent off a good shot on target. Lucrețiu Aronescu scored 0-3 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Narcis Frunză, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ciprian Răduț fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narcis Frunză having to interfere. The tension between the Penfolds® and the FC DNI players grew even worse after the yellow card. Narcis Frunză was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Petre Almăgean. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciprian Răduț in the 89th minute of play forced Penfolds®'s goalkeeper Narcis Frunză to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 90 minutes of play Penfolds®'s Costin Balint was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Costin Balint kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Penfolds®'s Mugurel Măgherușan got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute, Petre Almăgean sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Penfolds®'s Narcis Frunză didn't even have to move. FC DNI's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
