The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Mihăiţă Ogică ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emil Bărbuceanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Paul Șişman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Rareș Achifoaiei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rareș Achifoaiei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciprian Răduț in the 8th minute of the match. Rareș Achifoaiei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucrețiu Aronescu in the 13th minute of play. Lucrețiu Aronescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rareș Achifoaiei having to interfere. Ciprian Răduț fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rareș Achifoaiei having to interfere. A collision led to FC DNI getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Paul Șişman hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciprian Răduț in the 34th minute of play forced Oskh's goalkeeper Rareș Achifoaiei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rareș Achifoaiei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucrețiu Aronescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Sever Lixandru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sever Lixandru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Emil Bărbuceanu made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iurie Cămărășescu during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC DNI's Iurie Cămărășescu got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 45th minute Calistrat Bârlea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Bărbuceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Calistrat Bârlea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Petre Almăgean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 52 minutes into the match, Oskh's Olimpiu Homeag sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emil Bărbuceanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rareș Achifoaiei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciprian Răduț, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute Calistrat Bârlea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Bărbuceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th match minute, Oskh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Zgîrţa to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, FC DNI's Rareș Achifoaiei threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ciprian Răduț, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 88thth minute of the game Ciprian Răduț who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oskh's Rareș Achifoaiei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emil Bărbuceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sever Lixandru in the 95th minute of play. Oskh's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
