Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mugurel Măgherușan took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Mugurel Măgherușan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Costică Oproiu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Flavius Capșuneanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Flavius Capșuneanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narcis Frunză having to interfere. If Flavius Capșuneanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Tudor Feroiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pivniceni's supporters rose to their feet, but Tudor Feroiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Narcis Frunză breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Costică Oproiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugurel Măgherușan in the 23rd minute of the match. Ferdinand Bârlă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Costică Oproiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tudor Feroiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavius Capșuneanu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Narcis Frunză when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Flavius Capșuneanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narcis Frunză having to interfere. Narcis Frunză made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tudor Feroiu in the 43rd minute of play. After 43 played minutes Penfolds® got a freekick which was hit by Costin Balint. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tudor Feroiu in the 44th minute of play forced Penfolds®'s goalkeeper Narcis Frunză to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Tudor Feroiu made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Penfolds®'s zone, Flavius Capșuneanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narcis Frunză came out of the goal and Flavius Capșuneanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute Tudor Feroiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narcis Frunză saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victor Purje hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Flavius Capșuneanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Tudor Feroiu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pivniceni fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 64 minutes into the match, Pivniceni's goalkeeper Costică Oproiu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mugurel Măgherușan. Petre Sucigan hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. With his leg Costică Oproiu managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Penfolds®'s Ferdinand Bârlă fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ferdinand Bârlă in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Costică Oproiu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Costin Balint's late challenge caught a Pivniceni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Costin Balint helped the player get up and apologised. After 68 played minutes Penfolds® got a freekick which was hit by Costin Balint. Narcis Frunză took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tudor Feroiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Ferdinand Bârlă managed to get in a good position for a shot. Penfolds®'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ferdinand Bârlă was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After 82 minutes of play, Pivniceni's Tudor Feroiu made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Narcis Frunză was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Ferdinand Bârlă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Penfolds®'s zone, Tudor Feroiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narcis Frunză came out of the goal and Tudor Feroiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flavius Capșuneanu struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Narcis Frunză didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pivniceni. When Pivniceni's Tudor Feroiu in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Penfolds®'s goalie prevented a goal. When Tudor Feroiu came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Pivniceni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tudor Feroiu couldn't finish the play. Narcis Frunză made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavius Capșuneanu in the 97th minute of play. 99 minutes into the match, Pivniceni's Flavius Capșuneanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Narcis Frunză narrowly saved just below the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pivniceni fully deserved thier win.
