Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Iurie Urderean took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ioan Chesaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Dichiseanu in the 5th minute of play. Narcis Mihădaș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute Eliodor Cârju shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ioan Chesaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliodor Brănescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ioan Chesaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 23 minutes of play, Cojmanesti's Eliodor Brănescu made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ioan Chesaru was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ioan Chesaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Dichiseanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, FCU CRAIOVA's goal looked a bit too open when Eliodor Cârju came free, but Ioan Chesaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narcis Nanu in the 37th minute of play forced FCU CRAIOVA's goalkeeper Ioan Chesaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Narcis Mihădaș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 38 minutes, Grigore Panțâru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cojmanesti and the FCU CRAIOVA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Grigore Panțâru kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Dichiseanu in the 40th minute of play forced FCU CRAIOVA's goalkeeper Ioan Chesaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Rareș Tănăsie came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the FCU CRAIOVA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rareș Tănăsie couldn't finish the play. FCU CRAIOVA's Ioan Chesaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narcis Nanu in the 46th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FCU CRAIOVA's zone, Narcis Nanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ioan Chesaru came out of the goal and Narcis Nanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The FCU CRAIOVA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cojmanesti were winning 1-2.

Aron Onete took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moise Jurăscu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ioan Chesaru made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Marcel Dichiseanu sent off a good shot on target. 55 minutes into the match, FCU CRAIOVA's goal looked a bit too open when Narcis Nanu came free, but Ioan Chesaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FCU CRAIOVA's Ioan Chesaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliodor Cârju in the 59th minute of play. Eliodor Cârju fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ioan Chesaru having to interfere. FCU CRAIOVA's Ioan Chesaru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save FCU CRAIOVA from getting a goal against them. 65 minutes into the game, Aurel Iftode recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ioan Chesaru. Aurel Iftode showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Luca Romeo kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FCU CRAIOVA's Narcis Mihădaș got a free kick in the 71st minute. Ioan Chesaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narcis Nanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Narcis Mihădaș managed to get in a good position for a shot. FCU CRAIOVA's supporters rose to their feet, but Narcis Mihădaș was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aron Onete breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FCU CRAIOVA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Moise Jurăscu in the 78th minute. A nice corner shot did that Moise Jurăscu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aron Onete quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Iurie Urderean blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aron Onete having to make a save. A collision led to Cojmanesti getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Eliodor Brănescu hit a great ball. Ioan Chesaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurel Iftode in the 88th minute of play. Ioan Chesaru made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Eliodor Cârju sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Ioan Chesaru successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 91 minutes into the match, Marcel Dichiseanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ioan Chesaru. FCU CRAIOVA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcel Dichiseanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. When the match was over Cojmanesti could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FCU CRAIOVA throughout the match.
