Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ciprian Răduț started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ciprian Răduț received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ioan Chesaru came out and tried to block the shot, but Ciprian Răduț slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. Ioan Chesaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciprian Răduț, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. FCU CRAIOVA's Ioan Chesaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciprian Răduț in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th match minute, FCU CRAIOVA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavril Nistor to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute Ciprian Răduț shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ioan Chesaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, FCU CRAIOVA's goalkeeper Ioan Chesaru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paul Șişman. A sloppy throw-in by Dragoş Carp in the 26th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FCU CRAIOVA's Gavril Nistor. Ioan Chesaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciprian Răduț in the 27th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Ioan Chesaru successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Iurie Urderean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, FCU CRAIOVA's Ioan Chesaru got control of the ball when Dragoş Carp tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ciprian Răduț sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in FC DNI's zone, Iurie Urderean stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emil Bărbuceanu came out of the goal and Iurie Urderean tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iurie Urderean stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ioan Chesaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Șişman, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. FC DNI's Emil Bărbuceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iurie Urderean in the 54th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC DNI's Dragoş Carp got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 59th minute Nicu Păvăloae suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Codrin Bosioc charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Codrin Bosioc the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 60th minute, Codrin Bosioc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Narcis Mihădaș recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FCU CRAIOVA's Ioan Chesaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Șişman in the 68th minute of play. After 74 played minutes FCU CRAIOVA got a freekick which was hit by Iurie Urderean. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Dragoş Carp put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ioan Chesaru. 78 minutes into the match, FCU CRAIOVA's goal looked a bit too open when Lucrețiu Aronescu came free, but Ioan Chesaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute Paul Șişman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ioan Chesaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paul Șişman scored 4-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ioan Chesaru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 86 minutes into the match, FCU CRAIOVA's goal looked a bit too open when Codrin Bosioc came free, but Ioan Chesaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rareș Tănăsie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Bărbuceanu having to interfere. Ioan Chesaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Șişman in the 92nd minute of the match. Ioan Chesaru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciprian Răduț went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score.
