But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcel Dichiseanu couldn't finish the play. In the 10th minute, Marcel Dichiseanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Narcis Nanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Cojmanesti's Narcis Nanu in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 25 minutes of play, Cojmanesti's Marcel Dichiseanu made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Constantin Geolgău was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aron Onete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Zotincă in the 31st minute of play. Marcel Dichiseanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to FC Noua BV getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. David Burtea hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Narcis Nanu in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Constantin Geolgău saved FC Noua BV from getting behind. The referee felt a red card was in order, 44 minutes into the game, when Mugur Domnescu put in a rough tackle. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Noua BV! In the 46th minute there was a penalty for Cojmanesti. Eliodor Asachi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Constantin Geolgău. 0-3. After the first half Cojmanesti were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andrei Raţiu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcel Dichiseanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Constantin Geolgău. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcel Dichiseanu ran back to his position shaking his head. 57 minutes into the match, FC Noua BV's goal looked a bit too open when Narcis Nanu came free, but Constantin Geolgău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Aristide Cartiș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcel Dichiseanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Constantin Geolgău read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Narcis Nanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cojmanesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Narcis Nanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Constantin Geolgău breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcel Dichiseanu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Constantin Geolgău skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Cojmanesti's Marcel Dichiseanu got a free kick in the 69th minute. If Andrei Raţiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 77 played minutes Cojmanesti got a freekick which was hit by Aurel Iftode. Marcel Dichiseanu scored 0-4 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Constantin Geolgău, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ernest Basarab kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Narcis Nanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantin Geolgău having to interfere. FC Noua BV's Constantin Geolgău proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save FC Noua BV from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd minute, Narcis Nanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Narcis Nanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 97th minute, Narcis Nanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over Cojmanesti could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Noua BV throughout the match.
