If Ernest Pădure had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Orădan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radu Humă, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Radu Humă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Orădan having to interfere. A collision led to Ruginosi FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Doru Nanu hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Radu Humă's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felix Orădan was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Doru Nanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Nicu Teofil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Radu Humă in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felix Orădan saved Ruginosi FC from getting behind. Ernest Pădure sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Radu Humă got in the 43rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Felix Orădan handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. 45 minutes into the game, Kibed's Radu Humă nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felix Orădan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ioan Măcrinici made a kick off. Ernest Pădure sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Radu Humă in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Felix Orădan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 60 minutes, Octav Hojbota managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kibed's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octav Hojbota was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicodim Găină struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Felix Orădan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kibed. If Gică Goiciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Eugen Miclea notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Kibed's Nicu Teofil. Nicu Teofil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 82 minutes into the game, Lucian Humă was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ruginosi FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kibed the free kick. Lucian Humă hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ruginosi FC's zone, Ernest Pădure stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Orădan came out of the goal and Ernest Pădure tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute, Octav Hojbota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kibed's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
