After 8 minutes of play, Kibed's Gică Goiciu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cosmin Iuga was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adrian Balcan struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Nicu Teofil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Braglez. Nicu Teofil made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Adrian Balcan sent off a good shot on target. Braglez's Cosmin Iuga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernest Pădure in the 24th minute of play. Cosmin Iuga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radu Humă in the 26th minute of play. A collision led to Braglez getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Petru Andronic hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radu Humă in the 36th minute of play forced Braglez's goalkeeper Cosmin Iuga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Kibed's goalkeeper Nicu Teofil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrian Balcan. When Petru Andronic fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Braglez's protests and gave Petru Andronic a yellow card for diving instead. Petru Andronic kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernest Pădure in the 44th minute of play forced Braglez's goalkeeper Cosmin Iuga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Petru Andronic was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 46 minutes had been played. Petru Andronic hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adrian Balcan to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Adrian Balcan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Nicu Teofil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Braglez's Cosmin Iuga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gică Goiciu in the 58th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Kibed's Cosmin Iuga threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Radu Humă, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In a very dangerous position, a player in Braglez fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! Cosmin Iuga went to the wrong direction when Iacob Bârsan was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Braglez's Cosmin Iuga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Braglez from getting a goal against them. 77 minutes into the match, Kibed's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Balcan came free, but Nicu Teofil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Braglez's Adrian Balcan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicu Teofil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Kibed's zone, Adrian Balcan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicu Teofil came out of the goal and Adrian Balcan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valer Ilie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
