In the 12thth minute of the game Radu Humă who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cfr cluj's Ionel Postelnicescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Cfr cluj's Sabin Bădiliță got a free kick in the 16th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Cfr cluj's Niculae Ciprian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicu Teofil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Cfr cluj booed when Kibed was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicodim Găină didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Radu Humă in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. When Ernest Pădure came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Kibed fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernest Pădure couldn't finish the play. Gică Goiciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionel Postelnicescu having to interfere. Radu Humă's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ionel Postelnicescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Radu Humă made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Cristinel Sorin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cfr cluj's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristinel Sorin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 59 minutes into the game, Radu Humă lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Ionel Postelnicescu. The audience was convinced that Radu Humă's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ionel Postelnicescu was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Radu Humă might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ionel Postelnicescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 80th minute, Kibed's Radu Humă dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. With a little luck, Cfr cluj's Ionel Postelnicescu got control of the ball when Radu Humă tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th minute Ernest Pădure shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionel Postelnicescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radu Humă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Radu Humă put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Ionel Postelnicescu. Kibed's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
