The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cosmin Chircu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Golfinul UFC booed when Pecsetszeg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosmin Chircu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stelian Muncelean made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Ciprian Iosub sent off a good shot on target. Stelian Muncelean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicu Epure in the 6th minute of play. Ciprian Iosub in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Stelian Muncelean, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Lucian Iureș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciprian Iosub made in the 15th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Nicu Epure however managed to control. In the 17th minute, Ciprian Iosub left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pecsetszeg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Stelian Muncelean made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Ovidiu Cândea sent off a good shot on target. Cosmin Chircu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Stelian Muncelean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute Nicu Epure shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stelian Muncelean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costel Deșliu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucian Iureș, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Gică Ştefănescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Stelian Muncelean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucian Iureș struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Costel Deșliu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Golfinul UFC. If Lucian Iureș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 minutes, Ovidiu Cândea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pecsetszeg and the Golfinul UFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pecsetszeg's Ovidiu Cândea got a free kick in the 44th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicu Epure stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stelian Muncelean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicu Epure in the 51st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicu Epure in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stelian Muncelean saved Golfinul UFC from getting behind. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Golfinul UFC's Lucian Iureș in the 54th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Costel Deșliu was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Pecsetszeg through an amazing save. If Lucian Iureș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Golfinul UFC's Dorel Secoşan got a free kick in the 61st minute. Costel Deșliu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucian Iureș, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Golfinul UFC's Stelian Muncelean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosmin Chircu in the 65th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Pecsetszeg's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lucian Iureș fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Alex Agârbiceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dorel Secoşan hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. When Cosmin Chircu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 84 minutes had been played. In the 85th minute, Cosmin Chircu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A very nice done corner allowed Lucian Iureș to score against Costel Deșliu in Pecsetszeg's goal. 1-1 after 87 minutes. Alex Agârbiceanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Pecsetszeg's goal looked a bit too open when Lucian Iureș came free, but Costel Deșliu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 95 minutes of play Pecsetszeg's Ovidiu Cândea was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Ovidiu Cândea kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Golfinul UFC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
