Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Manole Dumitrache took the kick off in the first half of the match. A very good chance. 9 minutes into the match, -PSC- cheleFC's goalkeeper Horaţiu Mușat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pavel Purcaru. Horaţiu Mușat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manole Dumitrache in the 19th minute. When Avram Zgaroi fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored -PSC- cheleFC's protests and gave Avram Zgaroi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th minute, Avram Zgaroi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, -PSC- cheleFC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiberiu Lepuș came free, but Horaţiu Mușat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The nice shot from Manole Dumitrache in the 23rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Horaţiu Mușat had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Narcis Bogrea hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Tiberiu Lepuș was extremely unlucky when he, in the 26th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Avram Zgaroi was shown his second yellow card after 27 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, -PSC- cheleFC's Avram Zgaroi got a free kick in the 28th minute. Horaţiu Mușat made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Manole Dumitrache sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Tiberiu Lepuș put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Horaţiu Mușat. When Braseu's Tiberiu Lepuș in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye -PSC- cheleFC's goalie prevented a goal. Pavel Purcaru kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, -PSC- cheleFC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiberiu Lepuș came free, but Horaţiu Mușat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Aristide Poplăcan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Braseu's supporters rose to their feet, but Aristide Poplăcan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horaţiu Mușat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bogdan Goma charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bogdan Goma the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Horaţiu Mușat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavel Purcaru in the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Braseu's Aristide Poplăcan got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. -PSC- cheleFC's Horaţiu Mușat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manole Dumitrache in the 54th minute of play. -PSC- cheleFC's Horaţiu Mușat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiberiu Lepuș in the 55th minute of play. After 58 minutes of play, Braseu's Aristide Poplăcan made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Horaţiu Mușat was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Flavius Ciociu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pavel Purcaru during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Braseu's Pavel Purcaru got a free kick in the 64th minute. Pavel Purcaru was shown his second yellow card after 67 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a defensive mix-up in Braseu's zone, Remus Lucănescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horea Socoriceanu came out of the goal and Remus Lucănescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aristide Poplăcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Horaţiu Mușat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Braseu's Aristide Poplăcan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Horaţiu Mușat narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Braseu's Horea Socoriceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iosif Moscu in the 77th minute of play. -PSC- cheleFC's Horaţiu Mușat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiberiu Lepuș in the 79th minute of play. In the 87th minute of the match Braseu got a corner. -PSC- cheleFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Manole Dumitrache ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Manole Dumitrache almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but -PSC- cheleFC's Horaţiu Mușat did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavius Ciociu in the 88th minute of play forced -PSC- cheleFC's goalkeeper Horaţiu Mușat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aristide Poplăcan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the game, Aristide Poplăcan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Braseu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave -PSC- cheleFC the free kick.
