After some careless play in the Liverpool Academy defense, Marian Greavu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivan Tilincă. The Liverpool Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivan Tilincă should have stopped the shot. In the 16th match minute, Chisirid FCM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Liviu Moarcăș to maneuver through the defense. Ivan Tilincă didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marian Greavu went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gelu Mareș in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Tilincă saved Liverpool Academy from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Gelu Mareș managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chisirid FCM's supporters rose to their feet, but Gelu Mareș was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Tilincă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Radu Rogozanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 87th minute Ionuț Secară shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucian Covaci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 minutes, Avram Baltian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chisirid FCM and the Liverpool Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. Avram Baltian kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Lucian Covaci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radu Rogozanu in the 97th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chisirid FCM had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
