Ciprian Iosub sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 10th minute, FC Leresti's Panait Zberea seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Panait Zberea the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Leresti protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Panait Zberea had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 9th minute, one of FC Leresti:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Leresti. If Ciprian Iosub had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ernest Miclea fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pecsetszeg's protests and gave Ernest Miclea a yellow card for diving instead. If Ciprian Iosub had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Calistrat Mihalcea kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Eduard Beniuc, 25 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ciprian Iosub could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Irinel Iordache made a huge save. Pecsetszeg's Nicu Epure got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciprian Iosub received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Irinel Iordache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicu Epure fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Irinel Iordache having to interfere. When Pecsetszeg's Nicu Epure in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Leresti's goalie prevented a goal. Irinel Iordache was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Nicu Epure capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nicu Epure really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After 43 minutes, Tudor Bujor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Leresti and the Pecsetszeg players grew even worse after the yellow card. 45 minutes into the game, Ovidiu Cândea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pecsetszeg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Leresti the free kick. The supporters of FC Leresti booed when Pecsetszeg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidiu Cândea didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 46 minutes, Tudor Bujor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Leresti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tudor Bujor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicu Epure stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Irinel Iordache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciprian Iosub in the 51st minute of the match. If Nicu Epure had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciprian Iosub in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Irinel Iordache saved FC Leresti from getting behind. When Calistrat Ţirpe fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Leresti's protests and gave Calistrat Ţirpe a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Leresti getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Calistrat Ţirpe hit a great ball. The audience cheered when Eduard Beniuc's long shot passed Irinel Iordache's right side. It was 3-0, 65 minutes into the match. A collision led to Pecsetszeg getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Cosmin Chircu hit a great ball. If Tudor Bujor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicu Epure's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Irinel Iordache read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Irinel Iordache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciprian Iosub in the 78th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Nicu Epure ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Irinel Iordache was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicu Epure in the 86th minute of play forced FC Leresti's goalkeeper Irinel Iordache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Irinel Iordache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicu Epure in the 89th minute of play. Calistrat Mihalcea kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. FC Leresti's Irinel Iordache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciprian Iosub in the 93rd minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pecsetszeg fully deserved thier win.
