Narcis Bogrea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurențiu Zdrelea having to interfere. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute Bogdan Goma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurențiu Zdrelea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laurențiu Zdrelea came out of the goal and Narcis Bogrea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Laurențiu Zdrelea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogdan Goma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Chiciura CSS's Laurențiu Zdrelea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Chiciura CSS from getting a goal against them. 55 minutes into the game, Iosif Moscu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. -PSC- cheleFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chiciura CSS the free kick. Iosif Moscu kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Avram Zgaroi charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Avram Zgaroi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Avram Zgaroi hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the game, Remus Lucănescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. -PSC- cheleFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chiciura CSS the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in -PSC- cheleFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! In the 68th minute there was a penalty for Chiciura CSS. Petre Tilea stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Horaţiu Mușat. 1-0. Marcu Chițu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
