With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manole Vornicescu in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manole Balint saved DRK from getting behind. The supporters of DRK booed when FC Leresti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manole Vornicescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ovidiu Hrib was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 20th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Sever Cruceru hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The DRK fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when DRK's David Herescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 26 minutes into the match, FC Leresti's goal looked a bit too open when Sandu Trişcu came free, but Irinel Iordache reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Irinel Iordache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandu Trişcu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Leresti's Irinel Iordache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandu Trişcu in the 32nd minute of play. After 38 played minutes DRK got a freekick which was hit by Dorin Mangra. In the 41st match minute, DRK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Herea to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th match minute, FC Leresti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calistrat Ţirpe to maneuver through the defense. Sandu Trişcu struck a weak shot in the 49th minute. Irinel Iordache didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DRK.
