Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Stelian Muncelean successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lucian Iureș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Ivan Tilincă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucian Iureș might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivan Tilincă. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucian Iureș ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Liverpool Academy's Radu Rogozanu got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Lucian Iureș got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14th minute, Golfinul UFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ionuț Secară fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucian Iureș couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute of the match, Radu Rogozanu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Stelian Muncelean saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Liverpool Academy booed when Golfinul UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristi Grămescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stelian Muncelean came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Liverpool Academy's Iordache Ciprian. But to his dismay, Iordache Ciprian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Stelian Muncelean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radu Rogozanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Ivan Tilincă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucian Iureș, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ionuț Secară got free with Stelian Muncelean in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stelian Muncelean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radu Rogozanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 played minutes Liverpool Academy got a freekick which was hit by Emilian Udrescu. Golfinul UFC's Lucian Iureș got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucian Iureș made a kick off. Ivan Tilincă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucian Iureș in the 52nd minute of play. Lucian Iureș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Tilincă having to interfere. Liverpool Academy's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Lucian Iureș 60 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristi Grămescu got free with Ivan Tilincă in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Golfinul UFC's Alex Agârbiceanu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ivan Tilincă. That made the score 1-3 after 67 minutes of play. After 71 played minutes Liverpool Academy got a freekick which was hit by Ionuț Secară. In the 72nd minute, Liverpool Academy's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lucian Iureș fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cristi Grămescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Tilincă having to interfere. Lucian Iureș recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Alex Agârbiceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stelian Muncelean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionuț Secară, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Stelian Muncelean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionuț Secară in the 86th minute of the match. Golfinul UFC's Lucian Iureș got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, Liverpool Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Lucian Iureș came free, but Ivan Tilincă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cristi Grămescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 played minutes Liverpool Academy got a freekick which was hit by Emilian Udrescu. In the 96th match minute, Liverpool Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernest Biriș to maneuver through the defense.
