Spectators: 7486 (Terracing: 5615, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bogdan Goma started the match with the kick off. If David Herescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, -PSC- cheleFC's Avram Zgaroi got a free kick in the 5th minute. David Herescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Herescu scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Horaţiu Mușat, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of -PSC- cheleFC booed when DRK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Albu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, David Herescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horaţiu Mușat. -PSC- cheleFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Herescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Manole Balint made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Goma in the 35th minute of play. If Sandu Trişcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Avram Zgaroi during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to -PSC- cheleFC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Avram Zgaroi hit a great ball. In the 45th minute Sandu Trişcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horaţiu Mușat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

-PSC- cheleFC's Horaţiu Mușat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save -PSC- cheleFC from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as DRK's Sandu Trişcu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Horaţiu Mușat. That made the score 0-4 after 53 minutes of play. Sandu Trişcu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Horaţiu Mușat when he managed to save the team from getting behind. -PSC- cheleFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when David Herescu scored to the left of an out of position Horaţiu Mușat, making the score, 0-5. Bogdan Goma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st match minute, -PSC- cheleFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iosif Moscu to maneuver through the defense. David Herescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sandu Trişcu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Horaţiu Mușat firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Sandu Trişcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the last second Horaţiu Mușat throw himself and got hold of the ball when David Herescu in the 76thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Narcis Bogrea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manole Balint having to interfere. Manole Balint showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narcis Bogrea, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Costin Bunoaică kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. David Herescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Herescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Horaţiu Mușat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over DRK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than -PSC- cheleFC throughout the match.
