Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nicu Epure kicked off to start the match. Marcu Chițu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Costel Deșliu having to make a save. After 5 played minutes Pecsetszeg got a freekick which was hit by Cosmin Chircu. In the 6th minute of the match Petre Tilea shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Costel Deșliu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Ovidiu Ionaș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Nicu Epure took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Laurențiu Zdrelea to make any attempt to save it. Ciprian Iosub sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Chiciura CSS's Flavius Morar got a free kick in the 20th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dinu Oravițan during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Chiciura CSS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pecsetszeg:s goal. Eduard Beniuc placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Ciprian Iosub could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Laurențiu Zdrelea made a huge save. Laurențiu Zdrelea made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Ciprian Iosub sent off a good shot on target. Marcu Chițu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciprian Iosub fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurențiu Zdrelea having to interfere. Eric Ciordaș hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Costel Deșliu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcu Chițu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 40 played minutes Pecsetszeg got a freekick which was hit by Cosmin Chircu. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
A collision led to Pecsetszeg getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Nicu Epure hit a great ball. Ciprian Iosub fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurențiu Zdrelea having to interfere. In the 58th minute Nicu Epure shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurențiu Zdrelea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciprian Iosub struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Laurențiu Zdrelea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pecsetszeg. In the 61st minute, Marcu Chițu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 63 played minutes Pecsetszeg got a freekick which was hit by Ovidiu Cândea. Flavius Morar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Costel Deșliu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciprian Iosub sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicu Epure in the 86th minute of play forced Chiciura CSS's goalkeeper Laurențiu Zdrelea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ciprian Iosub had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Nicu Epure made a precise shot to the right of Laurențiu Zdrelea. Chiciura CSS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Pecsetszeg were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Chiciura CSS for a fine match.
