The referee ignored Liverpool Academy's protests and gave Lucrețiu Carabulea a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Liverpool Academy getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Lucrețiu Carabulea hit a great ball. Narcis Bogrea struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Ivan Tilincă didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Radu Rogozanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Ionuț Secară made a precise shot to the right of Horaţiu Mușat. -PSC- cheleFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Horaţiu Mușat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ionuț Secară in the 44th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ionuț Secară kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Horaţiu Mușat. That made the score 2-0 in the 47 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Radu Rogozanu made the kick off in the second half. If Radu Rogozanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bogdan Goma came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the -PSC- cheleFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bogdan Goma couldn't finish the play. Liverpool Academy's Ivan Tilincă proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Liverpool Academy from getting a goal against them. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Bogdan Goma got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Narcis Bogrea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Tilincă having to interfere. Ivan Tilincă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iosif Moscu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. -PSC- cheleFC's Horaţiu Mușat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionuț Secară in the 79th minute of play. After 86 played minutes -PSC- cheleFC got a freekick which was hit by Iosif Moscu. Ivan Tilincă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Goma in the 93rd minute of play. Horaţiu Mușat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionuț Secară, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
