Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Stelian Bocaneț made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 5 minutes, Stelian Bocaneț managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reschitza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stelian Bocaneț was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vali Ţeica recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. George Hăulică stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stelian Bocaneț's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Reschitza were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Arsache's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vali Ţeica took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Vali Ţeica got away a dangerous shot. Despite this George Hăulică quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Marin Urdeş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doru Filimon, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute Stelian Bocaneț shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Hăulică saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Hăulică stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stelian Bocaneț's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Vali Ţeica recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dacian Milcoveanu charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dacian Milcoveanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Arsache booed when Reschitza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dacian Milcoveanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. George Hăulică made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panait Pitiș in the 35th minute of play. Panait Pitiș struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. George Hăulică didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Reschitza. After 40 minutes, Maxim Berbec mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arsache and the Reschitza players grew even worse after the yellow card. Reschitza made a substitution. Vlad Caragea replaced Sorin Şoltuz. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of Arsache:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Reschitza:s goal. 0-2 came in the 43rd minute when Vali Ţeica all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of George Hăulică. George Hăulică stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stelian Bocaneț's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Vlad Caragea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without George Hăulică having to make a save. With his leg George Hăulică managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Reschitza's Stelian Bocaneț fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arsache's goalkeeper George Hăulică, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Reschitza fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Reschitza's Stelian Bocaneț looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Reschitza's Ştefan Chivulescu got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ioan Calboreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. George Hăulică tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Panait Pitiș fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Reschitza's protests and gave Panait Pitiș a yellow card for diving instead. Panait Pitiș kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After 71 minutes of play Arsache's Maxim Berbec was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Stelian Bocaneț recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th match minute, Arsache was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelian Tudose to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the game, Doru Filimon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arsache's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Reschitza the free kick. After 79 played minutes Arsache got a freekick which was hit by Doru Filimon. A hard shot 81 in the game by Stelian Bocaneț from a close distance when the talented George Hăulică managed to make a qualified save. Arsache's players were relieved.
