Petru Caramitru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nechifor Aliuta's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Nechifor Aliuta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petru Caramitru having to interfere. Petru Caramitru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Lelescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 26 played minutes Kemer UFC got a freekick which was hit by Mădălin Avacariței. Manole Udubaşa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristi Mergea having to interfere. When Tudor Iftimescu came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Brestelnic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tudor Iftimescu couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Brestelnic booed when Kemer UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valer Pască didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tudor Iftimescu in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristi Mergea saved Kemer UFC from getting behind. Kemer UFC's Cristi Mergea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Kemer UFC from getting a goal against them. 38 minutes into the match, Manole Udubaşa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristi Mergea. Kemer UFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manole Udubaşa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Calistrat Bărănescu's late challenge caught a Kemer UFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Calistrat Bărănescu helped the player get up and apologised. After 44 played minutes Brestelnic got a freekick which was hit by Calistrat Bărănescu. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romeo Lelescu in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petru Caramitru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Romeo Lelescu struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Petru Caramitru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kemer UFC. Manole Udubaşa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristi Mergea having to interfere. The tension between the Kemer UFC and the Brestelnic players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th minute, Valer Pască hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute of the match Emilian Ceaușescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristi Mergea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nechifor Aliuta scored 4-1 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Petru Caramitru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kemer UFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
