The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Thundering Thunderbolt's goalkeeper Vlad Bogdănescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 18th minute Marian Stanomir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dumitru Tilea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Codrin Caraiman in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vlad Bogdănescu saved Thundering Thunderbolt from getting behind. Manole Oprea struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Dumitru Tilea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thundering Thunderbolt. Marian Stanomir blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dumitru Tilea having to make a save. Vlad Bogdănescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Codrin Caraiman, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After having played for 39 minutes, Denis Ursulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. St3aua Ph's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Ursulescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The wind increased when Marian Stanomir made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denis Ursulescu during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, St3aua Ph was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Ursulescu to maneuver through the defense. The Thundering Thunderbolt fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Thundering Thunderbolt's Manole Oprea looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 59th minute Manole Oprea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dumitru Tilea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Manole Oprea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manole Oprea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Dumitru Tilea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. St3aua Ph's Dumitru Tilea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marian Stanomir in the 73rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, St3aua Ph's Damian Topală got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Vlad Bogdănescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Denis Ursulescu in the 77th minute. In the 81st minute, Codrin Caraiman fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind St3aua Ph's goalkeeper Dumitru Tilea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Thundering Thunderbolt had won after a very even match.
