With an all-out effort, Troaca's Ovidiu Bărănescu threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Iustin Coidum, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 14th minute, Bogdan Pumnu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Francisc Crașovan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. But to his dismay, Mihail Barbăroșie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 26 minutes, Felix Ioneasa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Troaca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Ioneasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 28 minutes into the match, FC GirlTEAM's goalkeeper Ovidiu Bărănescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iustin Coidum. If Felix Ioneasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Cornel Aluncai ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonard Dragu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Iustin Coidum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Troaca's Iustin Coidum got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iustin Coidum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidiu Bărănescu having to interfere. Iustin Coidum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Ovidiu Bărănescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iustin Coidum made a kick off. Gigel Marchidan charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a rather tough play, FC GirlTEAM's Lucrețiu Ababei got a free kick in the 67th minute. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Felix Ioneasa put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ovidiu Bărănescu. If Iustin Coidum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute Felix Ioneasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Bărănescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
