Spectators: 7496 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) Troaca's Iustin Coidum started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Felix Ioneasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gigel Marin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Dragu having to interfere. Leonard Dragu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Paraschivescu in the 8th minute of play. FC Baia Mare were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Troaca's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luca Istodor took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Luca Istodor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Leonard Dragu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Iustin Coidum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Iustin Coidum managed to get in a good position for a shot. Troaca's supporters rose to their feet, but Iustin Coidum was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ion Dorian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gigel Marin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Felix Ioneasa came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Troaca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Ioneasa couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Baia Mare's zone, Iustin Coidum stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ion Dorian came out of the goal and Iustin Coidum tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ion Dorian was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felix Ioneasa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 33 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustin Coidum in the 36th minute of play forced FC Baia Mare's goalkeeper Ion Dorian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Ioneasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ion Dorian having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Felix Ioneasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ion Dorian. FC Baia Mare's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felix Ioneasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. A collision led to Troaca getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Bogdan Pumnu hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luca Encica stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Troaca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nistor Arghir to maneuver through the defense. Felix Ioneasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iustin Coidum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Ioneasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ion Dorian having to interfere. The supporters of Troaca booed when FC Baia Mare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nechifor Oltean didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ion Dorian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Ioneasa in the 76th minute of the match. When Luca Encica came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the FC Baia Mare fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luca Encica couldn't finish the play. Iustin Coidum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ion Dorian having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Ioneasa in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ion Dorian saved FC Baia Mare from getting behind. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Troaca fully deserved thier win.
