Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Iustin Coidum kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the match, Troaca's goal looked a bit too open when Aron Elefterescu came free, but Leonard Dragu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 12 minutes, Edgar Răchită managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ilia CS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Răchită was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nistor Arghir's late challenge caught a Ilia CS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nistor Arghir helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ilia CS booed when Troaca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nistor Arghir didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Felix Ioneasa notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ilia CS's Martin Cozorici. Martin Cozorici was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 24 minutes of play, Troaca's Iustin Coidum made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martin Cozorici was left in no man's land by his defense there! 31 minutes into the match, Ilia CS's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Ioneasa came free, but Martin Cozorici reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iustin Coidum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Cozorici having to interfere. Leonard Dragu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgar Răchită in the 43rd minute. 46 minutes into the game, Edgar Torouţ was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ilia CS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Troaca the free kick. Edgar Torouţ hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aron Elefterescu was the one to do the kick off. Leonard Dragu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Răchită in the 51st minute of play. Leonard Dragu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aron Elefterescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonard Dragu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Răchită in the 57th minute of the match. Edgar Răchită received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Leonard Dragu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 75 played minutes Ilia CS got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Răchită. 88 minutes into the match, Edgar Răchită had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonard Dragu. Troaca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgar Răchită was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgar Răchită in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonard Dragu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aron Elefterescu struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Leonard Dragu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ilia CS.
