In the 36th minute, Mugur Albuț got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ioan Nicolcioiu kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The long shot by Nicolae Urdoi in the 45th minute really tested Adam Teodor's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Mugur Albuț in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. If Eugen Novăceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The † Nădejdea Alba - Iulia fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Otomani were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
