Spectators: 7553 (Terracing: 5666, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 150) F.C. APULUM's Tudor Panin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Costică Berbec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Gorun having to interfere. A collision led to Seatbelt FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Augustin Steriopol hit a great ball. Gabriel Gorun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costică Berbec, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The supporters of F.C. APULUM booed when Seatbelt FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicu Aursulesei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Costică Berbec might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Gorun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Costică Berbec ran back to his position shaking his head. F.C. APULUM's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Cezar Baican scored to the left of an out of position Ionică Burtea, making the score, 1-1. If Tudor Panin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ionică Burtea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cezar Baican in the 42nd minute of play. F.C. APULUM's Costică Berbec got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Mugurel Amuguroancei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Cezar Baican made the kick off in the second half. Tudor Panin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gabriel Gorun having to make a save. Ferdinand Petre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Costică Berbec blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gabriel Gorun having to make a save. After 62 played minutes F.C. APULUM got a freekick which was hit by Eliodor Popilean. In the 65th play minute Costică Berbec came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gabriel Gorun. 1-2. Gabriel Gorun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tudor Panin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Seatbelt FC's Augustin Steriopol in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C. APULUM's goalie prevented a goal. Augustin Steriopol scored 2-3 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ionică Burtea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mugurel Amuguroancei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Seatbelt FC's zone, Costică Berbec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Gorun came out of the goal and Costică Berbec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th match minute, Seatbelt FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Elisei to maneuver through the defense. F.C. APULUM's Costică Berbec got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded F.C. APULUM left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Seatbelt FC.
