Nicu Aursulesei kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Ion Ghercioiu's late challenge caught a Seatbelt FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ion Ghercioiu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Seatbelt FC booed when Universitatea Cluj was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ion Ghercioiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Seatbelt FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Universitatea Cluj for much of the match.
