Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tudor Panin made the kick off and thus started the match. Tudor Turcan struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Ionică Burtea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fitod. Ionică Burtea made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Tudor Turcan sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 10 minutes, Tudor Panin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. APULUM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tudor Panin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ionică Burtea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tudor Turcan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Costică Berbec took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nechifor Baldovinescu. Nechifor Baldovinescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Fitod's zone, Tudor Panin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nechifor Baldovinescu came out of the goal and Tudor Panin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nechifor Baldovinescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costică Berbec in the 24th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tudor Turcan got free with Ionică Burtea in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nechifor Baldovinescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tudor Panin in the 34th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Fitod's zone, Costică Berbec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nechifor Baldovinescu came out of the goal and Costică Berbec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute, Paul Stejaru fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Tudor Panin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tudor Turcan took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ionică Burtea. Ionică Burtea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paul Stejaru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Fitod getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Paul Stejaru hit a great ball. Tudor Panin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nechifor Baldovinescu having to make a save. F.C. APULUM's Costică Berbec got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ionică Burtea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tudor Turcan, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Costică Berbec blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nechifor Baldovinescu having to make a save. If Tudor Panin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute Paul Stejaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionică Burtea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nechifor Baldovinescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Simionaş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Fitod's Nechifor Baldovinescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tudor Panin in the 83rd minute of play. In the 88th minute Paul Stejaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionică Burtea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tudor Panin in the 89th minute of play forced Fitod's goalkeeper Nechifor Baldovinescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paul Stejaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ionică Burtea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the F.C. APULUM players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
