Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Horaţiu Posteucă got the match started through his kick off. Adam Teodor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergiu Bobe in the 5th minute of the match. Otomani's Adam Teodor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horaţiu Posteucă in the 6th minute of play. Alex Troncotă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Ovidiu Oblemenco made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Mugur Albuț managed to get in a good position for a shot. Otomani's supporters rose to their feet, but Mugur Albuț was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidiu Oblemenco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Francisc Şandru fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Tg-Mureș's protests and gave Francisc Şandru a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Otomani booed when FC Tg-Mureș was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisc Şandru didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Otomani's Eugen Novăceanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ovidiu Oblemenco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC Tg-Mureș's Ovidiu Oblemenco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save FC Tg-Mureș from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Otomani getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Mugur Albuț hit a great ball. Ovidiu Oblemenco made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Alex Troncotă sent off a good shot on target. In the 22nd minute, Sergiu Bobe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adam Teodor was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Alex Troncotă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Otomani's Mugur Albuț got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergiu Bobe in the 29th minute of play forced Otomani's goalkeeper Adam Teodor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Tg-Mureș booed when Otomani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olimpiu Elian didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Sergiu Bobe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adam Teodor was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Alex Troncotă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mugur Albuț to make the kick off. If Alex Troncotă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nistor Anastasiu charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nistor Anastasiu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th match minute, Otomani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nistor Anastasiu to maneuver through the defense. Eugen Novăceanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Otomani booed when FC Tg-Mureș was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florin Bungeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Tg-Mureș's goalkeeper Ovidiu Oblemenco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ovidiu Oblemenco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mugur Albuț's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Tg-Mureș's Augustin Ispirescu got a free kick in the 68th minute. 71 minutes into the game, FC Tg-Mureș's Francisc Şandru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adam Teodor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 76th minute, Cosmin Dinescu made a precise shot to the right of Ovidiu Oblemenco. FC Tg-Mureș's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. FC Tg-Mureș's Ovidiu Oblemenco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugur Albuț in the 79th minute of play. Mugur Albuț fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidiu Oblemenco having to interfere. Olimpiu Elian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Ovidiu Oblemenco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Eugen Novăceanu came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Otomani fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugen Novăceanu couldn't finish the play. Olimpiu Elian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Otomani's Adam Teodor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horaţiu Posteucă in the 97th minute of play.
