Sorin Dima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alin Greculescu in the 11th minute of the match. Alin Greculescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sorin Dima having to interfere. Sabin Isărescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonard Ghiță's late challenge caught a Hadau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonard Ghiță helped the player get up and apologised. Ion Cazimir kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Alin Greculescu made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Hadau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinu Ghimpu to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute of the match Mihnea Cobâlcescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Răzvan Constantinescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 65th minute Alin Greculescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sorin Dima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Răzvan Constantinescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sabin Isărescu in the 71st minute. Răzvan Constantinescu came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Hadau's Sabin Isărescu. But to his dismay, Sabin Isărescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Ion Cazimir kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. When Rareș Davidescu came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Draghia UFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rareș Davidescu couldn't finish the play. Ernest Murgu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Răzvan Constantinescu having to interfere. When Marcel Cara fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hadau's protests and gave Marcel Cara a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th minute, one of Hadau:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hadau. The referee gave Draghia UFC a penalty, 89 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Flavius Rucăreanu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hadau's Sorin Dima. 1-2. Sabin Isărescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Răzvan Constantinescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernest Murgu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Răzvan Constantinescu having to interfere.
