The audience thought a goal was coming when Sabin Isărescu got free with Petru Diaconu in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Avramdancu FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Stelian Tomoiu hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernest Murgu in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petru Diaconu saved Avramdancu FC from getting behind. Hadau's Ernest Murgu got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sabin Isărescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Petru Diaconu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mihnea Cobâlcescu during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 69 minutes, Ernest Murgu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hadau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernest Murgu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71stth minute of the game Ernest Murgu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Avramdancu FC's Petru Diaconu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 75th minute Ernest Murgu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petru Diaconu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Sabin Isărescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hadau fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Petru Diaconu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernest Murgu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Avramdancu FC's Petru Diaconu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabin Isărescu in the 94th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Hadau had won after a very even match.
