Claudiu Encica acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 15th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Manole Mârzac. After 17 played minutes Osoiu AS got a freekick which was hit by Vasile Proca. In the 22nd minute Eusebiu Ghițulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudiu Encica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 played minutes Centurion Lions got a freekick which was hit by Manole Mârzac. Ioan Măliță kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Osoiu AS's Corneliu Rusu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Costică Gavruță made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corneliu Rusu in the 40th minute of play forced Centurion Lions's goalkeeper Costică Gavruță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eusebiu Ghițulescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Corneliu Rusu made a kick off. Claudiu Encica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebiu Ghițulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 66 minutes into the game, Eliodor Irod was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Osoiu AS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Centurion Lions the free kick. In the 66th match minute, Osoiu AS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliodor Irod to maneuver through the defense. Constantin Şteţ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Claudiu Encica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corneliu Rusu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Costică Gavruță made a huge save. Claudiu Encica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebiu Ghițulescu in the 78th minute of play. After some careless play in the Osoiu AS defense, Constantin Şteţ kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudiu Encica. The Osoiu AS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudiu Encica should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Osoiu AS's Ioan Măliță got a free kick in the 85th minute. When the final whistle sounded Osoiu AS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Centurion Lions.
