After 31 played minutes Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Vali Balaeț. 31 minutes into the match, Draghia UFC's Flavius Rucăreanu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A hard shot by Ştefan Herea from long distance, 37 minutes into the match, got Răzvan Constantinescu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Răzvan Constantinescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Constantin Tobă in the 40th minute. In the 41st match minute, Draghia UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Bidulescu to maneuver through the defense. Constantin Tobă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Răzvan Constantinescu having to interfere. Horea Boacă hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Constantin Tobă to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantin Tobă in the 54th minute of play forced Draghia UFC's goalkeeper Răzvan Constantinescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute, Horea Boacă left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Craiova fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. In the 61st minute, Felix Arsene got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Constantin Tobă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rareș Davidescu couldn't finish the play. Felix Arsene fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Răzvan Constantinescu having to interfere. Constantin Tobă kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Craiova's Aristide Cioroianu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Craiova from getting a goal against them. Constantin Tobă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Constantin Tobă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Draghia UFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Craiova.
