Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Felix Arsene had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Osoiu AS booed when Craiova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cătălin Onete didn't get a good kick on the ball. Craiova's Felix Arsene got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Osoiu AS's Corneliu Rusu in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Craiova's goalie prevented a goal. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Craiova's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Claudiu Encica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantin Tobă in the 25th minute of the match. Corneliu Rusu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Aristide Cioroianu made a huge save. Claudiu Encica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantin Tobă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Corneliu Rusu in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aristide Cioroianu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Corneliu Rusu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristide Cioroianu having to interfere. Alex Latarețu hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Felix Arsene's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claudiu Encica read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. A collision led to Osoiu AS getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Călin Butuc hit a great ball. Constantin Tobă struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Claudiu Encica didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Craiova. In the 71st minute Felix Arsene shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudiu Encica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Moise Chificeac threw the ball into play from the sideline. Osoiu AS's Ioan Măliță quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Vasile Proca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudiu Encica made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Constantin Tobă sent off a good shot on target. Corneliu Rusu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Constantin Tobă could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Claudiu Encica however easily saved by the left post. A hard shot by Cătălin Onete from long distance, 94 minutes into the match, got Claudiu Encica's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Thanks to some nice moves Constantin Tobă could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Claudiu Encica however easily saved by the left post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Osoiu AS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Craiova had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
