Spectators: 7476 (Terracing: 5608, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) When Gigi Cozaru came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Sararestii fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gigi Cozaru couldn't finish the play. Ovidiu Berca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Alexandru, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute, Eric Zdroană hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Dinamo's Vintilă Ţirpe shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 11th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Marcel Encica but with some difficulty. Marcel Encica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Mandache in the 12th minute of play. Ferdinand Molodețiu kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. If Dacian Văcaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Dinamo's Emil Mandache got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ovidiu Berca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigi Cozaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, FC Dinamo's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Alexandru came free, but Ovidiu Berca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute Emil Mandache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Encica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Sararestii's Gigi Cozaru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ovidiu Berca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ciprian Gugea hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 57th match minute, FC Dinamo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandu Ştefănică to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute, Denis Alexandru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emil Mandache blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcel Encica having to make a save. Gigi Cozaru in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ovidiu Berca, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 75 minutes into the game, Denis Alexandru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ovidiu Berca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 78th match minute, FC Dinamo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Miulescu to maneuver through the defense. If Gigi Cozaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Alexandru in the 83rd minute of play forced FC Dinamo's goalkeeper Ovidiu Berca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcel Encica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dacian Văcaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FC Dinamo booed when Sararestii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Zdroană didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dacian Văcaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Marcel Encica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th match minute, Sararestii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Zdroană to maneuver through the defense. Dacian Văcaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sararestii's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
