When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Mircea Cângea sped through FC Dinamo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ovidiu Berca. Remus Poplăcan kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Octav Codrea received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ovidiu Berca came out and tried to block the shot, but Octav Codrea slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 31st minute. In the 34th minute, Gledeny's Octav Codrea ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ovidiu Berca. Ovidiu Berca yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ciprian Gugea during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Ciprian Gugea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute Octav Codrea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Berca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emil Mandache was the one to do the kick off. Ovidiu Berca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mircea Cângea, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Octav Codrea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ovidiu Berca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play.
