Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mircea Bogdănescu made the kick off which started today's match. Felcheriul CF's Pompiliu Dominte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavius Codru in the 3rd minute of play. With a little luck, Felcheriul CF's Pompiliu Dominte got control of the ball when Mugurel Stoicu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ionuț Vâlcu during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Octav Codrea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Pompiliu Dominte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dacian Rizea shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 15 minutes in the game, Octav Codrea fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Pompiliu Dominte having to interfere. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Felcheriul CF's goalkeeper Pompiliu Dominte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Octav Codrea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 played minutes Felcheriul CF got a freekick which was hit by Gavril Tăutu. After 28 played minutes, Gledeny's Dacian Rizea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pompiliu Dominte came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gledeny reached it. Octav Codrea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pompiliu Dominte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. When Octav Codrea came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Gledeny fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octav Codrea couldn't finish the play. Octav Codrea struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Pompiliu Dominte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gledeny. If Octav Codrea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mircea Cângea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Octav Codrea came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Gledeny fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octav Codrea couldn't finish the play. 76 minutes into the match, Gledeny's Octav Codrea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pompiliu Dominte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mircea Bogdănescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Eric Dică tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pompiliu Dominte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mircea Cângea in the 84th minute of play. Octav Codrea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pompiliu Dominte having to interfere. Pompiliu Dominte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mircea Cângea in the 99th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Gledeny players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
