Spectators: 7468 (Terracing: 5602, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Denis Alexandru took the kick off in the first half of the match. Denis Alexandru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Avram Timofte struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Marcel Encica didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rocket FC. Gigi Cozaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dumitru Şimandan having to interfere. Eugen Mareș took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcel Encica. Marcel Encica dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After having played for 23 minutes, Eugen Mareș managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rocket FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugen Mareș was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gigi Cozarus short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Dumitru Şimandan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denis Alexandru in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dumitru Şimandan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 37 minutes into the match, Rocket FC's goalkeeper Dumitru Şimandan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gigi Cozaru. 38 minutes into the match, Sararestii's Gigi Cozaru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dumitru Şimandan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gigi Cozaru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Dumitru Şimandan made a huge save. Dumitru Şimandan made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Gigi Cozaru sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 44 minutes, Gigi Cozaru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sararestii's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gigi Cozaru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gigi Cozaru might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dumitru Şimandan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gigi Cozaru ran back to his position shaking his head. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Dumitru Şimandan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigi Cozaru in the 58th minute of the match. Marcel Encica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Mareș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigi Cozaru in the 66th minute of play forced Rocket FC's goalkeeper Dumitru Şimandan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Marcel Encica successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 82nd minute Eugen Mareș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Encica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gigi Cozaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Eugen Mareș fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Marcel Encica, passed just outside the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Rocket FC's zone, Denis Alexandru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dumitru Şimandan came out of the goal and Denis Alexandru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denis Alexandru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dumitru Şimandan having to interfere. The Sararestii supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rocket FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Rocket FC.
