FCS Gepis's Manos Manteca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save FCS Gepis from getting a goal against them. In the 16th minute Dragoş Mihai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinu Vasilache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Surugiu in the 17th minute of play forced FCS Gepis's goalkeeper Manos Manteca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to LIverpool FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Adam Surugiu hit a great ball. Daniel Jerca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manos Manteca having to interfere. Daniel Jerca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Daniel Jerca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Manos Manteca managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when LIverpool FC's Daniel Jerca fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Manos Manteca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorel Zbanţ, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Dragoş Mihai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 39 minutes into the game, Daniel Jerca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Manos Manteca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Manos Manteca made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Daniel Jerca sent off a good shot on target. Dinu Vasilache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michalis Politis in the 45th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Dragoş Mihai made the kick off in the second half. It was beautiful to see FCS Gepis's Dragoş Mihai in action when he in the 53rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! A collision led to LIverpool FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. In the 68th minute, Dorel Pogea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Jerca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manos Manteca having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dorel Zbanţ in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manos Manteca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, FCS Gepis's Paul Musta got a free kick in the 78th minute. Manos Manteca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernest Molodețiu in the 79th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the game, Dorel Zbanţ cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Manos Manteca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Jerca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Jerca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind FCS Gepis's goalkeeper Manos Manteca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
