Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Petrolul Berca's goalkeeper Mihnea Cartianu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Petrolul Berca getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Costel Ciocan hit a great ball. Niculae Barascu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 12th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A hard shot 14 in the game by Marcu Nicopol from a close distance when the talented Mihnea Cartianu managed to make a qualified save. Petrolul Berca's players were relieved. Flavius Țepelea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodor Huțanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Teodor Huțanu scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flavius Țepelea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Barsanesti's Flavius Țepelea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionuț Bărboianu in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Petrolul Berca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Răzvan Aalexoaiei to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Niculae Barascu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Barsanesti's goal looked a bit too open when Ionuț Bărboianu came free, but Flavius Țepelea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcu Nicopol in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mihnea Cartianu saved Petrolul Berca from getting behind. With his leg Mihnea Cartianu managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Barsanesti's Marcu Nicopol fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Marcu Nicopol took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Mihnea Cartianu to make any attempt to save it. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Petrolul Berca's goalkeeper Mihnea Cartianu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcu Nicopol received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mihnea Cartianu came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcu Nicopol slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 40th minute. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Marcu Nicopol got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.

When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Marcu Nicopol sped through Petrolul Berca's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mihnea Cartianu. The Barsanesti fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Barsanesti's Marcu Nicopol looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Martin Udup charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Udup the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Barsanesti getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Martin Udup hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcu Nicopol in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mihnea Cartianu saved Petrolul Berca from getting behind. After some careless play in the Petrolul Berca defense, Sabin Cozaru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mihnea Cartianu. The Petrolul Berca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mihnea Cartianu should have stopped the shot. If Marcu Nicopol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrei Şimoc's late challenge caught a Barsanesti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andrei Şimoc helped the player get up and apologised. Andrei Şimoc hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Marcu Nicopol put it in 6-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mihnea Cartianu. 84 minutes into the game, Barsanesti's Filip Dragota nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mihnea Cartianu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. Mihnea Cartianu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabin Cozaru in the 91st minute of play. Mihnea Cartianu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcu Nicopol's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. With a little luck, Barsanesti's Flavius Țepelea got control of the ball when Ionuț Bărboianu tried to sneak it across the goal line. There was no doubt that Barsanesti were the better team. Barsanesti's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
