Iustinian Pășcuțoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ioan Pârlea in the 46th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francisc Ciuhandu during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Unirea BFF's Mugur Chificeac played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olimpiu Oblemenco in the 77th minute of play. Olimpiu Oblemenco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugur Chificeac having to interfere. Sandu Bojincă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Emanuel Becheanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Unirea BFF getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. George Cutean hit a great ball. Unirea BFF's Ioan Pârlea got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iustinian Pășcuțoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Becheanu in the 96th minute of play.
