In the 7thth minute of the game Edgar Cordescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bagy FC's Liviu Bârlă was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Liviu Bârlă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Cordescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute, Edgar Cordescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Corsorul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ionică Homeag kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. If Edgar Cordescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgar Cordescu scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Liviu Bârlă, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Paul Dedu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horaţiu Gâfu hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Augustin Sasu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 25th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ştefan Lucan. Ovidiu Carp kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Florin Matei's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Augustin Sasu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Florin Matei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augustin Sasu having to interfere. Paul Dedu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Liviu Bârlă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Cordescu in the 41st minute of play forced Bagy FC's goalkeeper Liviu Bârlă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgar Cordescu in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Liviu Bârlă prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paul Dedu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgar Cordescu was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Corsorul's Edgar Cordescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Liviu Bârlă. That made the score 0-3 after 51 minutes of play. If Edgar Cordescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 61 in the game by Paul Dedu from a close distance when the talented Liviu Bârlă managed to make a qualified save. Bagy FC's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Cordescu in the 62nd minute of play forced Bagy FC's goalkeeper Liviu Bârlă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgar Cordescu in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Liviu Bârlă saved Bagy FC from getting behind. When Nicolae Rusu fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bagy FC's protests and gave Nicolae Rusu a yellow card for diving instead. Nicolae Rusu kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the game, Romeo Barbălată was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Corsorul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bagy FC the free kick. When Edgar Cordescu came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Corsorul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Cordescu couldn't finish the play. Edgar Cordescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Liviu Bârlă having to make a save. Corsorul's Edgar Cordescu got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 86 minutes into the game, Ionică Homeag was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Corsorul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bagy FC the free kick. In the 86th minute, Ionică Homeag hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Augustin Sasu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florin Matei in the 87th minute of play. Liviu Bârlă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Cordescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the match, Bagy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Cordescu came free, but Liviu Bârlă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Corsorul could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bagy FC throughout the match.
