Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Dragheasa's Eric Minea got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Claudiu Crăciunescu hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Claudiu Crăciunescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gică Iulian having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Claudiu Crăciunescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute, Costin Şunda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute, Claudiu Crăciunescu made a precise shot to the right of Gică Iulian. Dragheasa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Claudiu Crăciunescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Dragheasa's Nistor Caciulescu got a free kick in the 37th minute. After 41 played minutes Latinu CS got a freekick which was hit by Basarab Tomescu. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Costin Şunda was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Claudiu Crăciunescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Latinu CS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Remus Morovan in the 62nd minute. The corner led Latinu CS's Remus Morovan to fire away a dangerous shot which Gică Iulian despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Aron Gorunescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nistor Caciulescu in the 66th minute of the match. Doru Găvănescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gică Iulian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudiu Crăciunescu in the 70th minute of play forced Dragheasa's goalkeeper Gică Iulian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute Claudiu Crăciunescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gică Iulian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Dragheasa's goal looked a bit too open when Claudiu Crăciunescu came free, but Gică Iulian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basarab Tomescu's late challenge caught a Dragheasa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Basarab Tomescu helped the player get up and apologised. Basarab Tomescu kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Latinu CS's Anton Toader managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dan Mihai in the 85 minute of the game. When Claudiu Crăciunescu fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Latinu CS's protests and gave Claudiu Crăciunescu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Latinu CS's Claudiu Crăciunescu got a free kick in the 89th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Dragheasa lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
