With a little luck, Cyprus Hools's Cezar Frențiu got control of the ball when Ionuț Goicea tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th minute, Ionuț Goicea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mugurel Ciocâlteu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. REGIONAL FC's Eusebiu Răuţă got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eusebiu Răuţă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eusebiu Răuţă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Cezar Frențiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ionuț Goicea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ionuț Goicea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudiu Comișel was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Cyprus Hools's zone, Ionuț Goicea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cezar Frențiu came out of the goal and Ionuț Goicea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eusebiu Răuţă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, REGIONAL FC's Sandu Buznea got a free kick in the 59th minute. When Mugurel Ciocâlteu came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Cyprus Hools fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mugurel Ciocâlteu couldn't finish the play. Ionuț Goicea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cezar Frențiu having to make a save. REGIONAL FC's Gică Pană proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save REGIONAL FC from getting a goal against them. Claudiu Comișel kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Eusebiu Răuţă got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Cyprus Hools getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Iacob Coja hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, REGIONAL FC's Eusebiu Răuţă sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cezar Frențiu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Iacob Coja charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iacob Coja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
