Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Corneliu Flamaropol got the match started through his kick off. Ilasi CSS's Daniel Agud got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 7 minutes of play, Ilasi CSS's Bogdan Mihăilescu made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alin Săndulescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Corneliu Flamaropol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Dorel Cubleșan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tiberiu Balaban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Ilasi CSS's Marcel Marinescu got a free kick in the 17th minute. Bogdan Mihăilescu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Alin Săndulescu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 25th minute, Daniel Agud reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alin Săndulescu. The goal made the score 2-0. Socetu AS's Alin Săndulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Agud in the 31st minute of play. Daniel Agud was extremely unlucky when he, in the 34th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The referee felt a red card was in order, 36 minutes into the game, when Marcel Marinescu put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ilasi CSS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! Ionuț Pătrășconiu placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! When Socetu AS's Tiberiu Balaban in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ilasi CSS's goalie prevented a goal. 43 minutes into the game, Ioan Murgescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ilasi CSS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Socetu AS the free kick. Ioan Murgescu kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Socetu AS's Ionuț Pătrășconiu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The crowd rose to their feet as Socetu AS's Corneliu Flamaropol slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dorel Cubleșan. That made the score 2-1 after 54 minutes of play. In the 62nd minute, Dorin Caloian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ilasi CSS's Dorel Cubleșan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corneliu Flamaropol in the 73rd minute of play. Bogdan Mihăilescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alin Săndulescu having to interfere. Tiberiu Balaban recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dorel Cubleșan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corneliu Flamaropol in the 94th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ilasi CSS's zone, Corneliu Flamaropol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorel Cubleșan came out of the goal and Corneliu Flamaropol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
